Stettler Hospital & Care Centre
The Stettler Hospital & Care Centre is a fully accredited 116 bed multilevel facility. The hospital offers 24 hour emergency service with 1 of the 6 physicians on call for emergency treatment.
The 26 acute medical care beds offer paediatric, medical, surgical, obstetrical, and ambulatory care.
The Auxiliary Hospital and Nursing Home, with a total of 90 long term care beds, provides nursing care, rehabilitation, nutrition, and pharmaceutical services to the residents. Day support and respite care is available for community referrals.
The fully staffed Radiology, Ultrasound, Laboratory, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Recreation Therapy departments boast the latest in available training and equipment. The six chair renal dialysis unit functions as a satellite unit of the Northern Alberta Renal Program.
The Central & Red Deer Region includes programs such as community health nursing, coordinated home care, Alberta aids to daily Living, dental health, speech pathology, and Alberta hereditary diseases.
Stettler also has an Alberta Alcohol and Drug Abuse Commission Office and Alberta Mental Health Clinic.
The Stettler Health Services Foundation is a 12 member board with community, health and board representatives. Through donations, gifts-in-kind, bequeaths and fundraising supports the enhancement of health equipment and programs for Stettler and surrounding communities.
