The Stettler Town and County area is known as the "Heart Of Alberta". Stettler's central location makes it an attractive location for distribution and manufacturing. Oil and natural gas, coal, sulfur, gravel, sand, agricultural and dairy products are some of the raw resources found in the Stettler vicinity. The population of Stettler's main trading area is over 11,000 people. The proximity of many rural communities creates a potential market of over 38,000 people. We often get to see folks from the North towards Camrose, the South towards Drumheller, the East towards the Saskatchewan border and the West towards Red Deer.

Parade Float November 02, 2015 Successful Season of Parades for Town of Stettler Float

With summer over we have been reflecting on the accolades received from the new Town of Stettler float debuted at the Stettler Steel Wheel Stampede. The float was taken to 14 parades bringing smiles and “wows” everywhere it went.

Pheasant Festival October 22, 2015 Canadian Badlands Pheasant Festival ‐ Stettler an astounding success

The second annual Canadian Badlands Pheasant Festival‐ Stettler was an astounding success as hunters came from across Western Canada to take part in the festival. Many people spent multiple days in the Town and County taking in many aspects of our community.

Beautification logo October 05, 2015 2015 Communities in Bloom Results

The Town of Stettler received 5 Blooms - Bronze and a special mention for  Pride, Partnerships & Promotion during the 2015 National Symposium and Awards Ceremonies in Kamloops, BC. The community also received an Outstanding Achievement Award for the Communities in Bloom Foundation Youth Involvement Award. The Town of Stettler participated in the International Challenge (Medium) category along with Ahoghill, Northern Ireland UK, Estes Park CO USA, Jasper AB and Trail BC.

Take it or leave it June 26, 2015 Good news for all you reusers, reducers and recyclers!

"Take it or Leave it" facility breaks ground thanks to generous donations from Superfluity, Metalex Metal Buildings Inc., TransCanada Corporation, and Stettler ATCO Electric. This facility will be a place for residents to drop off unwanted but usable items which other residents may take for free.  Located at the Stettler Transfer Site the Take it or Leave it building will be operated by the Stettler Waste Management Authority, a joint board of Town, County and Village members.
