Community Partners Plan Stettler’s Biggest Family Day Celebration to Date
The Stettler Recreation Centre’s Winter Carnival will be the place to be this Family Day, thanks to the collaboration between Stettler & District FCSS, the Heartland Youth Centre, Stettler Public Library, the Family Resource Network, and the Town of Stettler. The local community groups are partnering to offer a full day’s worth of free events on February 20th, with the lineup as follows:
Pancake Breakfast: 9 – 11 AM
Magic Show with Magicmon: 11 AM & 2 PM
Carnival Games: 11 AM – 1 PM
Hotdog Lunch: 12 PM – 2 PM
Photo Booth: 12 PM – 3PM
Shinny: 1 – 3 PM
Public Skate with Klay the DJ: 1 – 3 PM
Family Swim: 1 – 3 PM
Says Town of Stettler’s Manager of Recreation & Culture Brad Robbins,
“We are very excited about this year’s Family Day celebration at the Stettler Recreation Centre. We have a number of different activities that families can take part in to enjoy the day together, and there will be something for everyone. These partners have eagerly come on board to provide families with a no-cost opportunity to get together in a carnival atmosphere.”
